Our Vision: What Sets CFAC Apart
Visual Arts & Crafts under CFAC is not an activity period. It is a structured academic discipline with clear learning outcomes, cumulative assessment, and pathways that connect school-level training to higher studies and professional practice.
Art as a Core Subject
Professional certification, defined rubrics, and year-wise examinations ensure that a child’s creative growth is recognised with the same seriousness as mainstream subjects.
Progressive Curriculum Design
Each level builds systematically—from early motor skills and imagination to composition, theory, portfolio development and applied creativity.
University-Connected Pathways
Alignment with UGC-recognised universities anchors school-level art learning to credible higher-education and career trajectories.
Comprehensive Course Structure: Foundational Levels
The Child Art & Craft Programme is organised into clearly defined stages, guiding learners from first exploration to confident, concept-based creation. Each level deepens skills while preserving joy, play, and originality.

Primary · 6–8 years
Structured drawing of everyday forms (fruits, houses, landscapes), story-based compositions, origami and simple fabric / paper craft, early calligraphy and handwriting refinement, and nature–object observation.
1st – 3rd Year · 9–11 years
Thematic and imaginative drawing, foliage and object study, basic modelling with clay/paper pulp, decorative craft and collage, introduction to elements of art, and guided reflection for confidence.
4th – 5th Year · 12–13 years
Advanced drawing and composition, colour theory and design basics, life study from figures and nature, Indian motifs and cultural forms, mixed-media experiments, and structured self-evaluation.
6th – 7th Year · 14–15 years
Complex compositions, integrated projects, advanced life/object study, deeper theory of art, pattern and design applications, and portfolio-oriented work that prepares students for specialised tracks and examinations.
Four Years Advanced Course (FAC I – IV) · Age 12+
Advanced stream for serious learners—specialization, conceptual development and portfolio preparation, aligned to senior-school, pre-university and entrance standards.
