Purpose of the CFAC Art Olympiad
The CFAC Art Olympiad serves several essential purposes:
- Nurturing Creativity: The primary goal is to nurture and celebrate creativity among young artists. By providing a platform for expression, the Art Olympiad encourages participants to explore their artistic potential.
- Inspiring Imagination: Art transcends boundaries and stimulates imagination. The Olympiad inspires participants to think beyond the ordinary, experiment with various mediums, and create thought-provoking artworks.
- Building Confidence: For many participants, this event marks their first public display of art. The experience boosts their confidence, validates their talent, and encourages them to pursue their passion.
- Fostering Art Education: By participating, students learn about different art forms, techniques, and themes. The Olympiad complements formal art education and exposes them to a broader artistic landscape.

CFAC Art Olympiad - 2025
The 6 steps that are to be followed:
- Step 1: School/Institution Registration
Your school or institution must be affiliated with CFAC. If not already affiliated, apply for affiliation first through the official CFAC website. - Step 2: Student Registration
Teachers or coordinators from affiliated institutions register their students through the CFAC online portal. Registration opens on 10th September 2025. - Step 3: Pay the Registration Fee
A nominal fee of ₹200 per participant (non-refundable) must be deposited to CFAC along with parental consent. - Step 4: Submit Your Artwork
Upload your original artwork online before the deadline: 30th November 2025 (11:59 PM). Follow all size, medium, and originality rules. - Step 5: Qualify Through Round 1
The first round is an online selection process. Shortlisted participants will receive email notification to move to the final round. - Step 6: Participate in Round 2 (Final Round)
Attend the final round via Google Meet in January 2026. Create a brand-new artwork live. Winners will receive cash prizes, trophies, and certificates!

CFAC Art Olympiad: Terms & Conditions for Hosting Schools/ Institutions/ organizations
Thank you for your interest in hosting the CFAC Art Olympiad in your school/organization! These Terms & Conditions establish the framework for collaboration between the Contemporary Foundation for Art Crafts(CFAC) and participating schools/ Institutions/ organizations.
- Schools /Institutions/ organizations with established art programs or dedicated art teachers/persons/artists are eligible to host the CFAC Art Olympiad.
- Registration for hosting schools/ Institutions/ organizations opens on 10th Sept, 2025 and closes on 10th Nov, 2025. Applications will be reviewed on a first-come, first-served basis.
- To register, schools/ Institutions/ organizations must complete the online application form available on the CFAC website.
- Promote the CFAC Art Olympiad within the school community, encouraging student participation.
- Ensure adherence to competition rules and deadlines, as outlined in the separate CFAC Art Olympiad Participant Guidelines.
- Appoint a school/institution/ organizations representative as the primary point of contact for CFAC regarding the competition.
- Collect and submit student artwork according to the specified format and deadlines.
- Provide a suitable competition venue within the school/ Institutions/ organizations’ premises (if applicable).
- Facilitate a fair and orderly competition environment.
- Supervise students during the competition and ensure their safety.
- Provide promotional materials for the CFAC Art Olympiad (posters, banners, etc.).
- Develop and distribute the CFAC Art Olympiad Participant Guidelines.
- Offer support and guidance to hosting schools/ Institutions/ organizations throughout the competition process.
- Select a distinguished panel of judges to evaluate student artwork.
- Provide awards and certificates to competition winners.
- Winning artwork and participating schools/ Institutions/ organizations will be featured in the CFAC website (with school/ Institutions/ organizations permission).
- Student artwork submitted to the CFAC Art Olympiad remains the intellectual property of the student creators.
- Schools/ Institutions/ organizations retain ownership of any original artwork used for promotional purposes within the school.
- CFAC reserves the right to use photographs or scans of submitted artwork for non-commercial promotional purposes, with proper attribution to the student and school/ Institutions/ organizations.
- Students who submit artwork grant CFAC a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use their artwork for the aforementioned purposes.
- CFAC takes all reasonable precautions to ensure the safe handling of student artwork. However, CFAC is not liable for any loss or damage to artwork during the competition process.
- Schools/ Institutions/ organizations are responsible for ensuring students have permission to submit artwork and participate in the competition.
- CFAC reserves the right to modify these Terms & Conditions or cancel the competition at any time, with reasonable notice provided to hosting schools/ Institutions/ organizations.
By registering to host the CFAC Art Olympiad, schools / Institutions/ organizations agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.

Basic Rules:
- CONTEMPORARY FOUNDATION FOR ART & CRAFT (CFAC) – A pan-India registered National level society.
- A jury of art experts will adjudicate the competition, with their decisions final in each round.
- The Age limit of participants is 04 to 18 Years in the competition.
- This competition is open to all residents of India.
- Group wise categories: 1. Group A (04 to 06 Years) 2. Group B (07 to 8 Years) 3. Group C (9 to 10 Years) 4. Group D (11 to 13 Years) 5. Group E (14 to 18 Years)
- Last date for submission: 30th Nov 2025 (11:59 PM).
- There may be a nominal registration fee to cover administrative costs: ₹200.
- It should not be a copy of any painting and the submitted work should be original and created by the participant himself/herself. Those who have copied the actions of any other art piece will themselves be responsible or accountable and shall not come under evaluation. The submitted work will also be rejected by the selection committee if at any stage it comes to the knowledge of the committee that the submitted work is a copied work. In case of any confusion arises about the submitted work the committee’s decision is final.
- The Artwork must be between a minimum of A4 (8.3/11.7 inches) and maximum of Full Imperial (22/30 inches).
- Any medium can be used of the participant’s choice. There is no restriction on the use of the medium. It could be regular pencils, colored pencils, graphite pencils, charcoal, crayons, sketch pens, oil pastels, watercolors, acrylic colors, or oil colors. The drawing, sketch, or painting can be done on any paper – regular office stationery paper, drawing paper, or any other surface suitable for drawing or painting. The participant can submit digital art as well.
- Glitter or decoration material cannot be pasted or used in the artwork.
- Fill out the Online Registration Form with all necessary and required details.
- With Parental Consent - Rs.200 registration fee (non-refundable) is to be deposited to CFAC.
- Read all the rules related to the ‘Competition’ carefully before participating.
- The information given by the participant should be complete and true.
- Registration is done online.
Round 1 (Online Submission):
- Unleash your creativity and submit your artwork online based on the theme “COLOUR YOUR IMAGINATION.”
- Our esteemed judges will evaluate your masterpiece based on originality, artistic merit, and how well it captures the theme.
- Only the most captivating artworks will move on to the next round!
- The decisions of the selection committee will be final, and no appeal will be entertained.
- Email Notification will be sent to the shortlisted students who have been promoted to the second round.
Round 2 (Final Round):
- Get ready to showcase your talent live! Shortlisted participants will be notified and invited to participate in the final round via Google Meet.
- In this exciting round, you’ll present a brand new and distinct artwork, different from what you submitted in Round 1.
- Prizes, certificates, and recognition will be bestowed upon the most outstanding creations!
- Participants disqualified at any time for any reason shall have no claim for any “Rewards”.
- All the Participants & Winners will get the information through our website https://cfac.in/./ or registered email of the participant.
Results will be announced on the CFAC Art Olympiad website on 28 /02/2026.
Award in Each Group:
Total cash prize amount of INR 1 Lakh will be distributed amongst winners across categories.
- 1st Award: 5000/- +Trophy +Award Certificate.
- 2nd Award: 5000/- +Trophy +Award Certificate.
- 3rd Award: 5000/- +Trophy +Award Certificate.
- 4th Award: 2500/- +Trophy +Award Certificate.
- 5th Award: 2500/- +Trophy +Award Certificate.
Best achievement award & Certificate will be given to 50 candidates in each group.
For Winners:
- Cash prizes, trophies, and certificates will be presented to the winners.
- After declaration of the winners, selected participants will be able to download their Achievement Certificates from their dashboard.
- Cash prizes, trophies, and certificates will be presented to the winners during a ceremony / through courier or post.
- The winners are awarded through the award distribution ceremony in different parts of the country by the joint initiative of CFAC and associate organizations or schools.
- But in those areas where award distribution ceremony is not possible, prizes and certificates will be delivered by courier or post.
- Cash awards winners or their parent`s account number should be sent to CFAC`s email or whatsapp within the stipulated time.
- Winner`s cash award will be credited to their or their parent`s account after verifying the account number given.
- The delivery of certificates through courier may take time depending on the situation, for this participant should have to wait patiently.
- After receiving the prize and certificate, the winners should take a photo of them along with the certificate and prize and send it to CFAC`s whatsapp. CFAC might publish their photos on the website, social media to encourage award recipients and maintain official Art Olympiad record.
All participants will receive a digital participation certificate upon successful submission of their artwork.
By submitting their registration or artwork, participants agree to these rules and regulations.
Participants must adhere to the organizer’s arrangements. Failure to do so may result in disqualification.
The competition organization committee has the ultimate authority to interpret the rules and regulations and has the right to make any changes to them as necessary.
Any changes to the rules and regulation of the competition will be updated on the organization’s website https://cfac.in/ .
The organization will not be held liable for any loss of artwork due to unforeseen circumstances, including natural disasters like floods or earthquakes.

A: Yes! Every participant who submits artwork successfully will receive a digital participation certificate.
